Proyecto Araguaney is a worldwide beer collaboration, hosted by Tripping Animals and The BeerTrekker, in partnership with the We Love Foundation, raising funds for the long-term recovery of affected communities after the Junes 2026 earthquakes in Venezuela

One beer, brewed around the world, for one cause.

Want To Support the Project?

Epa, panas.

That's how we say hello back home. Pana means friend, the kind who shows up. This is us asking you to be that.

There's a tree in Venezuela that only blooms once a year. It waits for the driest, harshest stretch of the season, and then it explodes into gold. It's called Araguaney, and it's the country's national tree. When we started thinking about how the brewing world could respond to what happened in June, that image kept coming back to us. Something good, breaking through at the hardest possible moment.

On June 24, 2026, Venezuela was hit by two earthquakes back to back. The rebuilding is going to take years, not months. So we built something with that goal in mind.

Proyecto Araguaney is a worldwide beer collaboration, hosted by Tripping Animals and The BeerTrekker, in partnership with the We Love Foundation, raising funds for the long-term recovery of affected communities. Breweries across the US, Latin America, and Europe are brewing the same beer, each in their own way, all pointed at the same cause.

This isn't an open-source project anyone can pick up and run with. It's a coordinated one, on purpose. Breweries can work from one of two base recipes or participate through another option in the coordinated program, including an original or existing beer with the Araguaney label. Each participating brewery commits to a donation amount and timeline up front, and we track every dollar so the total we publish is money that actually landed, not a number on paper. If you're a brewery interested in joining, reach out below.

Ways to take part: brew a base recipe with project-donated ingredients; brew it with your own ingredients; release your own or an existing beer with the Araguaney label; host a tap takeover or event donating a portion of proceeds; offer bottles for an auction or raffle; or propose another way to help. Bottle donations are optional.

One beer, brewed around the world, for one cause.

The Tools

Everything you need to brew, brand and promote the beer.

Recipe

Two base recipes, built at 15 BBL, designed to give every brewery a real starting point while leaving room to make it their own.

Araguaney Pilsner: a clean, traditional lager, brewed for easy drinking and true-to-style character.

Araguaney IPA: a hazy, dry-hop-forward IPA, built for breweries who want something bolder on their menu.

Label design

Every label carries the same design and the same story. No two breweries' beer will taste exactly alike, and that's the point. One name, one cause, as many interpretations as there are breweries brewing it.

How to support the project

Beer Drinkers, Brewers and all supporters

Lend Your Support

Maybe you don't drink beer. Stick around anyway.

You don't have to be a brewer to be part of this.

When a participating brewery releases its Araguaney beer, buying a pint, a can or a bottle helps fund recovery through that brewery's donation commitment. But you don't have to wait for a release near you. You can give right now through the project's donation page to support the teams helping on the ground in Venezuela.

The Cause

We Love Foundation Inc (operating as I Love Venezuela Foundation) is a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization, EIN 46-5681221. Proyecto Araguaney supports their work on the long-term recovery and rebuilding of Venezuela following the June 2026 earthquakes, and every dollar donated through this project is tracked and directed toward that mission.

Named for Venezuela's national tree, which blooms bright gold in the harshest, driest season, the project brings breweries around the world together around one shared beer, each with its own twist.

One beer, brewed around the world, for one cause.
